Hi Everyone,
I hope your summer has been a fantastic one so far. In July and August, I like to keep things simple; I live by a strict schedule of school pick-ups, drop-offs and activities with my kids during the school year, on top of work and keeping the house in some sort of order. In the simplicity of summertime, I also write a little less because I enjoy having my children home and spending as much time as I can with them, which means less time at the computer. What happens when I spend less time at the computer? Well, my mind goes a little crazy, plotting. Last night I spent a little time trying to figure out how to bridge the gap I've come to in Beyond the Borders, because I'm literally stuck for the time being until the characters figure out how they are going to get through it! In all that wasted time, asking myself question after question, I realized what was unfolding: the plot of the novella about Charlotte and Jordon I've been putting aside for later. Most importantly, the name came to me: The Deep End of Forever. The name couldn't be more perfect for the Charlotte's short story, and now I want to get down to writing it, too. I hope after a month or two of writing this novella, I'll come to a conclusion of what needs to happen with Beyond the Borders. Writing a novel is such a journey. If I try to force events in one direction, I've found that I just end up deleting it all. It's like the characters get pissed off at me. Seriously.
So that's what is new with this series.
These past few months, I've taken a lot of time to promote Beneath the Surface, but now I need to focus on these books. On that note, I'm going to pull back from writing on Facebook and Twitter as frequently, for a while. I am, however, having one final giveaway on Goodreads for my Canadian and United States friends. The next one will be when the next novel/novella comes out (I'm not sure which one will be first).

I'll be back in a while. :)
