In other news, I've begun my own personal writing challenge. I normally over-write, exaggerate, drone on, and spend hours cutting out purple prose from my novels before I hand them to others for critiquing (long before I'd ever place them in the hands of an editor). Therefore, I'm making myself write a short stories, in just a single sentence or two. To share them with you, I'm posting them all on Twitter under the hashtag #mrc1s .
