I have thrilling news!!!
I have just signed on with Friesen Press, a Canadian self-publishing company in Victoria, B.C. I'm so excited to be working with someone so close to my hometown. I can actually go see them and not have to take a flight! Yay!!
This week, I'm going to meet my Author Account Manager and I'm so excited--did I say that already?? :) Working with Friesen will allow me some more time with my husband and children during the publishing stage, and that means a lot to me. I don't get days back with my kids.
That being said, getting my book out will take a little longer. I know I promised everyone spring, but last month I realized that I needed some help, and I am certain that the people at Friesen will take good care of me and Beneath the Surface.
When we have solidified a release date, I'll be sure to post it. :)
I know, the wait is killing me, too.
On a more positive note, I've finished the three act structure for Beyond the Borders, and I'm going to begin writing the first draft at the beginning of next month. Rasadian hasn't closed his mouth in my head for the last two weeks--I really need to get going on this next novel. Like now.
Take care and Happy New Year everyone!!!!
