Hi Everyone,
It's been over a month, and I haven't written on my blog, which I believe is really unfair to my fans. Therefore, while it's raining here in Vancouver--and other parts of the world, mind you--I'm going to give you something to laugh about.
Yes. It's about me!
Rule number one when walking through a mall:
DO NOT READ AND WALK!!
No matter how badly you are dying to open that first page, don't do it!!!!!
Today, I did just that. And then I walked right into a cement post.
You're laughing now, I know.
Want to hear something else that's funny? I have a bad habit of walking into things. I don't multi-task very well, as you can tell. In grade seven, I was at this cute boy's house who I was totally in love with (love at 12, which really isn't that serious, but seemed serious at the time), and I walked through his patio screen. Me, the screen and my face came crashing down onto his porch. It was nothing short of brutally embarrassing. The best part of that whole ordeal was that my starry eyes were looking right at him, and not where the heck I was going.
All this time, I thought I'd never do it again. I literally promised myself I'd never do it again. But I did. Today. Twenty years later.
Want to know what book I was reading?
Colleen Houck's Tiger's Quest.
I'd been waiting over a week for the book to come in, and when I finally got the call from Black Bond Books, I rushed out on my lunch break to grab it. I couldn't wait to start reading it because I loved Tiger's Curse so much.
So...
Colleen, this is all your fault!
Ha ha just kidding!! :)
I have a bruised forehead, but Colleen, your book is soooooo worth it!!
Okay. I'm done. It's time for bed. Lately I have not had enough sleep, and it's beginning to show.
