Hello Everyone!
This has been a very eventful January and beginning of February. Eventful in a good and not so good way. In a not so good way, my family and I (this past week) have been inundated with sickness this past month, and I've had very little chance to write because I'm literally spent by the time 9 o'clock comes around; therefore, Beyond the Borders, book two in my malion series, has been on hold. But that's okay, because during the day, between wiping stuffy noses, making chicken soup and scheduled Tylenol dispenses, I've taken some time to do a bit of reading, and I have some fantastic reads to share with you all. The best part about reading is that I can squeeze in a page or two here and and there during the day and on my lunch break at work, whereas writing, I need a solid block of a few undisturbed hours, which only happen between 4-6am and 10pm-2am. If you have a spring/summer reading list, add these titles, they are fantastic!
1. Kill Shot by Liliana Hart
Category: Adult Romantic Suspense
2. Southern Fried Blues by Jamie Farrell
Category: Adult Contemporary Romance
3. Lovestruck in London by Rachel Schurig
Category: Adult Contemporary Romance
I can't say enough good things about these books. Normally I'm a paranormal romance reader, but I ventured out this month and found these, and I couldn't put them down.
On another high note, I have some great news about Beneath the Surface: It is making its way into some local libraries in Canada. YAY!! I am so excited to hear that people have been requesting it. Thank you sooooo much!
For those of you who would like to have a copy of Beneath the Surface to read in their hands, and because it's not yet on bookstore shelves, consider requesting it from your own local library, or your school library. Chances are, they will bring in a copy for you. As I was informed yesterday, libraries take public/student requests very seriously when purchasing.
Also, stay tuned for another Scene Hunt Sunday and some deleted scenes, coming soon, now that we're almost back to normal around here.
Happy reading!
