Beneath the Surface had a amazing week this past week. And I'm thrilled to say that it became a bestseller! On FriesenPress's website, instead of searching for BTS, it's on the front page of the bookstore. Wow! I know it won't be there forever, but I did save a screen shot because I was so excited. Yesterday, I also found out that BTS has been added to a few Listopia lists on Goodreads!
I only have you to thank, because I have no idea how books get on those lists. I'm honestly very limited to social media knowledge, but I'm getting there, thanks to my fantastic sister and techy nephew. On an even better note, I've secured my editors for book two, Beyond the Borders, and I'm positive they will do a fantastic job. Micheline Brodeur from Purple Pen Editing, I've worked with before, and Eileen Cook will be new my structural/line editor (as the fabulous Jessica Lowdon is no longer editing; I will miss her dearly though).
As for Goodreads, if you've read BTS and enjoyed it, please vote for me on Listopia! I know I scroll Listopia all the time for good books to read. It's how I found Jamie McGuire's Beautiful Disaster, as well as the Black Dagger Brotherhood and many more of my favourite titles.
Your help and support is so appreciated, and I thank you all for those who have voted already; it means the world to me, and your nice reviews have warmed my heart and placed a permanent smile on my face.
This week, I've also been working on polishing my deleted scenes and details about the malion language. I'm sure a lot of you are curious about the translations, and I assure you, there are some direct malionn-English translations; other malion words I can only describe in a sentence.
By the end of week, either Saturday or early Sunday morning, I'll have deleted scenes, the language translations, as well as the final Scene Hunt Sunday for BTS, which tells about the climax, and where that takes place.
Until then, here is the link to Goodreads:

I'll be in touch next weekend, with good stuff for you all!
